A Birds' King

I'm done with it! ^0^ I can't seem to get Tojo's symmetrical eyes right I'm sorry! I'm just not used to drawing characters from this angle! O_O

I like how it came out! What I don't like is the fact that I should've been learning for my finals but didn't do anything. The stress is real. Birds are hard to draw! Had to take screenshots of the movie to know how Ani was supposed to look like.

Description I had written under the WIP submission:
Aaaaaah I love drawing TLK lions! *0* Before to draw my lastest TLK/TLG-related drawings I thought I sucked at drawing felines but I guess I improved!

I've always liked Tojo. :3 But dude birdies are soooo horrible to draw! @_@ I had to take screenshots of the We Are One song form TLK II to know how they were done in the movie. Wings are still horrible in this position...

I wanted to add a flower in Tojo's mane but then I had the feeling it'd ba a bit too much. Still thinking about it though... It could be the bird's present, might be cute. x3

Color schemes are hard to chose and get right. I think I changed Tojo's mane color at least 5 times and I'm still not satisfied so I'd like comments please...

I SHOULD BE LEARNING MY LESSONS FOR MY FINALS AAAAAHHH! O_O

I imagine Tojo as pure and fierce defender of the Circle of Life. (Could be a sort of hippie too I guess. xD) Dude I think I ship him with my version of Mheetu. They'd go along so well imo.
